High in the northern highlands of Guatemala, Huehuetenango rises toward the sky with some of the tallest coffee-growing elevations in the country. Cradled by the Cuchumatanes mountains, the landscape is shaped by warm currents sweeping in from Mexico, creating a rare natural shelter that keeps the nights cool but free of frost.
